59. Wulf Greybones drinking from a brook.

It won't be long before the real wolves are on the first journey with their April-born pups. At route's end, the rest of the pack will meet and greet and sing with the new members.

Wolves in the wild love to sing. They sing when they're happy, sad, before a hunt, after a hunt, to mark the pack's territory, to celebrate that they just woke up, or that they're going to sleep... There's always a good reason to do some howling.

Man, I love those creatures.

Young wolves in Kristiansand Zoo. Haven't seen them in the wild. Yet.
