110. The making of.

It's while making an image like Smooth Criminal I get the full reward for the times I drag my Nikon around with me. This collage was made out of pieces from close to forty images.

This is the official version.

Below,  the unofficial one, accompanied by Alien Ant Farm's sort of classic and rather splendid version of Smooth Criminal. And the video is also very funny, (unless they don't show Michal Jackson videos on your planet, which I'm quite certain they do).

109. Smooth Criminal.

In spite of all deadlines, I just had to see this one finished.

Mimoza Hasani's photos taken at Topp Studio, Arendal.

Smooth Criminal with 2 Cellos.

If this is a fairy tale - and who am I to say it isn't - this is what happens when "happily ever after" is over. It's an epilogue to the classic fairy tale love story. An abusive Prince Charming leaves a bankrupt kingdom (or, in this case, a hotel in the same state), and a Disney-like princess, for easy money and easier women.

Next: The making of this image, plus an alternate version.

108. More hours wanted.

Did another photo-shoot yesterday, for the Funky Muzak side-project. Both this, and the Pia Zawa graphic novel, will have to chill for a while though. Until Wolf's Blues, my movie project, reaches the silver screen, it will always have first chair, and the wolves now require my full attention for a few weeks. I also have a commissioned poster with a "before Christmas" deadline. In other words - Pia Zawa and Funky Muzak will be back some time around the holidays.

In the meantime - here's a couple of portraits of lovely Mimoza Hasani, from yesterday's studio shoot.
